We have engaged in extensive double bass rosin trials with nearly 200 players including soloists, jazz players, professional orchestral players and even whole orchestral bass sections; from Mexico to Norway, Australia to Italy, Thailand to the USA. We are working hard to launch a completely new range of rosin products for Double Bass players, for all climates and playing contexts. We are getting close and plan to launch in 2018.

Our trials have led us to discover that bass players have a VERY wide range of rosin needs; even to orchestral players in the same section of an orchestra, playing the same music can require vastly different grades of rosin. Also, while we love working with, and presenting our rosins in the Australian specialty timber and leather wrap, this packaging does not work practically. And thanks to your feedback we have nearly completed developing a new and different packaging solution.

We are strongly focused on 2 areas:
- The recipes, first and foremost, offer a great clarity of sound, lyrical quality and grip
- There is a range of recipes players can choose to suit climate, playing contexts, and that players can choose quite specifically how sticky and pliable their rosin is.
- The packaging is simple, practical, easy to use and protects both rosin and equipment from melting.
