The generous pocket fits most chin rest sizes for both Violin and Viola, and offers flexibility in positioning from side to centre. The sewn pocket slips underneath the rest to hold it in place.

AustraliaI ordered a black suede leather chinrest cover and it was extremely comfortable, and made with the right proportions to sit well on my chinrest without falling off. Unfortunately, after my first concert with it, I noticed it began to bleed black dye onto myself and my clothes. Unfortunately hand washing it made the leather bleed even more and eventually shrivel and harden, and I’m unable to use it now. Perhaps it was just a once off anomaly on my cover. It is an obviously well made product with a comfortable and premium feel to it, but bled black dye on mine.

I bought one for my violin and one for my viola because it eliminates the need to place a cloth on top of your chinrest every time you are about to play since this chinrest cover stays in place even when you're resting. Saves time in Orchestra rehearsals. Love it!
